Protizyme Pecan Cinnamon Rolls

Talk about the ultimate comfort food! Something about a warm cinnamon roll...does it get any better?!

It does when you use our Protizyme Butter Pecan Cookie protein, some cinnamon, coconut sugar, pastry flour, and just a few other simple ingredients. 

Dense, chewy, and oh so gooey!

Cinnamon Roll
  • 1 scoop Protizyme Butter Pecan Cookie (35g)
  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour (120g)
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened applesauce (18g)
  • 1 single serve container of vanilla nonfat greek yogurt (5.3oz / 150g)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Splenda packets
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 Tbsp coconut sugar (18g)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • splash of water


  1. Mix together cinnamon roll ingredients - use hands to combine
  2. Form a ball - if too sticky add a little more flour
  3. Dust counter with flour - roll dough into rectangle
  4. Mix together filling ingredients - add a teeny tiny bit of water to get a slightly runny
  5. Spread filling on flat dough
  6. Roll and slice into 5 equal pieces
  7. Place in baking dish coated with nonstick spray - best if they are a tight fit
  8. Bake at 350F for 28 minutes

Frosting Options

  • Powdered sugar mixed with milk to thin
  • Cream cheese, vanilla extract, and sweetener to taste
  • Protizyme Vanilla Cake protein mixed with greek yogurt and a splash of milk
  • Try topping with your favorite crushed nuts!
