NOTE: We used sugar free chocolate to keep the added sugars down. To lower the fat, you can try 3/4 cup powdered peanut butter, 6 tbsp. water, and 2 tbsp. peanut butter in place of the half cup of peanut butter.
Lucky Charms Protein Puppy Chow
Makes 12 servings
Ingredients:
3 cups Chex cereal
3 cups Lucky Charms (or more Chex)
1/2 cup peanut butter (see note for using powdered peanut butter)
1/2 cup chocolate chips (we used sugar free)
1 tbsp. coconut oil
70g (2 scoops) Metabolic Nutrition Protizyme in Chocolate Cake flavor
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
Directions:
Add cereals to a large mixing bowl.
Melt peanut butter and chocolate chips with coconut oil in a saucepan over medium low heat.
Pour melted chocolate and peanut butter over cereal and stir until coated evenly.
Add protein powder and salt, toss to coat again.
Place your bowl in the fridge to allow chocolate to set for a few minutes.
Transfer puppy chow to a sealed container and store in the fridge. Enjoy!
