Muddy Buddy Protein Trail Mix
This one is for the Snackers…Kid approved too! We took the Classic Muddy Buddy Recipe, but added protein and took out some sugar. Don’t worry, it still tastes great!! Mix it up with some chocolate candies, nuts, or your favorite dried fruit. It makes one big batch so you can portion it out as you like.
Ingredients:
1 scoop @metabolicnutrition Vanilla Cake Protizyme (35g)
6 Tbsp powdered peanut butter (36g)
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (60ml)
3 cups rice cereal (90g)
2 Tbsp white chocolate chips (28g)
sprinkles
Optional:
peanuts
white chocolate chips
M&Ms
Instructions:
- Melt powdered peanut butter, milk, and chocolate chips on stove top
- Remove from heat
- Stir in cereal and sprinkles
- Add coated cereal and protein powder to large ziplock bag and shake
- Lay on cookie sheet to cool…the longer the better!
- After cooling…add in any extra ingredients like peanuts, white chocolate chips, or M&Ms
- You can sub any regular peanut butter. Just leave out the milk.
- Store in ziplock bag or Tupperware at room temperature
