If you've never heard of cow patties, they're basically chocolate peanut butter no-bake cookies made with oats. In this case, we've added some protein and lowered the sugar. Yes, these No Bake Protein Cow Patties do kind of look like cow poo (hence the name), but they taste amazing!
NOTES: You can use either old-fashioned or quick oats, and you can swap the peanut butter for another nut or seed butter if needed.
No Bake Protein Cow Patties
Makes 12 cookies
Ingredients:
6 tbsp. creamy peanut butter
2 tbsp. buttery spread (or unsalted butter)
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup (120g) Metabolic Nutrition Protizyme in Chocolate Cake
2-3 tbsp. sweetener (optional)
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:
Melt peanut butter and buttery spread together over low heat.
Remove from heat, then add milk and vanilla.
Combine rolled oats with melted peanut butter mixture, then add protein, sweetener, and salt.
Mix until combined, then spoon onto a parchment lined baking sheet to make 12 cookies.
Store in the fridge for 1 hour or until firm to the touch.
Leftovers will keep in the fridge in an airtight container until ready to eat.
